Featured ! Beantown Bride - Jess and Greg at Milton Hoosic Club

It is great to be featured on Beantown Bride - an elegant and informative blog for Boston Brides! Beantown Bride highlighted Jess and Greg's wedding at the Milton Hoosic Club and gave lots of love to Jess's perfectly classic, birdcage veil! I also want to mention that the flowers shown here were by Blooms of Hope - a boutique floral studio that donates half of their profits to charitable organizations. Thanks Beantown Bride!

Nancy and Vin - Married!

It was a perfect winter wedding! A fresh blanket of white snow was the icing on the cake. Nancy and Vin took advantage of it by braving the cold for some beautiful outdoor photographs before the sun went down. The reception was at The Publick House in Sturbridge, MA. Nancy and Vin are a beautiful couple and they both have hearts of gold. He is a veteran and she works at a school for autistic children. The world needs more Nancys and more Vins!
Congratulations you two!

Let it Snow!

Meredith and Edward were in town for the holidays and so we went out for a post wedding "Engagement" Session. Meredith got the snowy day she had hoped for and Harvard Square was the perfect backdrop. It's always great to see couples again after their wedding day, especially for more photography!
Happy Holidays!

All American

There is something so "all american" about these images. Is it the football? It's funny, the football wasn't really meant to make it's way into the photos, but kids always photograph better when they are doing something they like! I just love how iconic it looks.

This shoot was back in early October, but I never had a chance to post it. We just finished designing their holiday cards and address labels with images from this shoot (which look totally fabulous) and so I figured I would post these now. I thought about posting their holiday card design too, but would it spoil the surprise??? So I decided not to. I think after the holiday or very close to it I might do a holiday card post to showcase a selection of cards that we have designed for clients. Stay tuned!

Blue Banzai

A quick post form Lauren and Justin's wedding this past weekend at Independence Harbor in Assonet, MA. As I was photographing Lauren's shoes and jewelry, she said, "That's my something blue!" I just loved the look of these deep blue shoes on Lauren, especially with her white dress. A highlight from the reception was the traditional Japanese or Hawaiian wedding toast. "Banzai! Banzai! Banzai!" Congratulations you two!

Trash the Dress! - Cynthia and Kevin

Cynthia and Kevin got dressed up again, only to get down and dirty in the leaves and underground! That's right, we headed underground for some romantic shots on the escalators at Park Street Subway Station. But it was this last shot of the day that I think really captured how much fun we had! You guys were awesome! Next time, let's get Meatball (their beloved Bulldog) to join us for some family pics!

"Social Photographer"

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes...

So here is Arya again, but this time with his big sister Isabella and Mum and Dad too! One of my favorite things about what I do is when I get to photograph a family over many years. Photographing Jessica and Hemant's wedding was just the beginning. This past weekend at Mary Cummings Park in Burlington, MA, was my third shoot with this family and they were fantastic as usual! I am so grateful to have lasting relationships like this with so may of my clients.

I recently hosted a visitor from Argentina in my home. After I showed him my work and described my business he said, "So, you are a social photographer." I really liked the sound of that. Yes, I am a "Social Photographer!" That is exactly what I am and exactly what I want to be. I photograph people, and the way they interact, co-exist and relate to one another... especially the ones they love the most.
