Meredith and Edward were such a cute couple! And their wedding party was a fun crowd too! Their reception was at The Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. Congratulations Meredith and Edward!

Natasha and Dan - Married!

Natasha and Dan's wedding was exquisite. With a ceremony at The Lindsey Chapel on Newbury Street and the reception at the Taj Boston, one would expect nothing less than perfection. It was an unforgettable day. Congratulations Natasha and Dan!

Juli and Jay - Married!

Juli and Jay couldn't have picked a more scenic location as a backdrop for their happy day. It was my first time photographing at Zuka's Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA. What an awesome venue! It would so obviously be beautiful in every season. We had vast fields of these fluffy dandelions to play in, but in the Fall, there are fields of sunflowers! I would imagine that in the winter, this location would be an absolute wonderland. Congratulations Juli and Jay! It was so much fun!

Arya turns 1!

Arya hammed it up with his iPhone while we photographed him at his home in Burlington, MA. This is a great example of what my portable studio set-up can deliver. I set it up in the family's living room so it couldn't have been more convenient for them. And, when I arrived, Arya was having a bath so we got some great bath time shots as well! I hadn't seen Arya's mum and dad since I photographed their wedding in 2008, so it was great to catch up! I love to be able to photograph a family as it grows and changes throughout the years. Happy Birthday Arya!

Blog Action Day 2009 - Climate Change

Today is Blog Action Day 2009 and the topic this year is "Climate Change."

I can't help but take this opportunity to share with you how proud I am to live in a town that has two beautiful windmills! Hull, Massachusetts has won the Department of Energy's Wind Power Pioneer Award which recognizes the town for its "outstanding leadership in advancing the use of wind power in a coastal community." I believe in the possibilities of cleaner energy sources and the long term benefits of developing and utilizing them. Check out the Hull Wind website at www.hullwind.org, which is owned and managed entirely by volunteers. It has some great links and information on wind power technology.
